We’re here, day or night, for anyone who’s struggling to cope, who needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure. Samaritans is not only for the moment of crisis, we’re taking action to prevent the crisis. We give people ways to cope and the skills to be there for others. And we encourage, promote and celebrate those moments of connection between people that can save lives. We offer listening and support to people and communities in times of need.

Support U is a friendly helpline service that provides support for all aspects of issues surrounding sexuality through the telephone, email and face to face drop in centre in Reading. The service specialises in support for Lesbian Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community and those that are affected by issue relating to sexuality (such as parents or carers). All the people that answer our phones are trained volunteers here to help with anything they can. Whether you are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or straight we are here to help with issues concerning sexuality and gender assignment. Remember all our volunteers are non-judgmental and always here to listen. Whatever your query, we will do our best to help you.

Victim Support is a national charity giving free and confidential help to victims of crime, witnesses, their family, friends and anyone else affected across England and Wales. We also speak out as a national voice for victims and witnesses and campaign for change.
